Scenario Architecture have created an outstanding design and space that was beyond my expectations. The design was through their unique process of understanding the client’s daily scenarios and collaborating with the client to come up with a unique design. The design process is one of the most memorable parts of the process and they also stretched my existing ideas to help create this unique space. A stress free journey throughout the whole process which Scenario were indispensable by giving advice on many difficult design and build decisions.
We wanted to renovate our house in a conservation area in central London. Given this involved a complete demolition and new build with an extra floor on top, getting planning approval was always going to be tricky. Scenario did an amazing job on the new house 'envelope' and throughout the planning phase. We couldn't have wished for better from them and having succeeded in gaining planning approval owe them a very big 'thank you'.
Fantastic team to work with, creative minds with beautiful designs. We did a big renovation project with them and enjoyed the whole process, from the initial design, site management to the finishing touches. People at Scenario are genuine, honest, competent and great to deal with on a daily basis. Highly recommend working with them. We are very pleased with our new house!
We worked with Scenario on the expansion of our studio and despite having a relatively tight turnaround for the whole process, they managed to maximise space and get exactly what we wanted from the new layout. They worked closely with us from design to completion and managed to accommodate everything perfectly, including adapting the build process to all us to continue work during construction. We hired Scenario Architects to plan our house conversion - in what was effectively a rebuilding of the entire interior of a two-floor mid-terrace house, and adding an additional floor and a roof terrace on top. From the very first meeting when we showed them the ground plans, we were impressed by the combination of down-to-earth practicality and out-of-the-box imaginative vision. They listened carefully to us as we described what we wanted, and then came up with amazingly clever ways to achieve that and maximize space, light, and comfort - surpassing all our expectations in terms of spatial creativity.
The design itself is unusual for London, in a really good way: it is clean, open, spacious, making use of lines and curves in a most organic manner. Everyone coming into the house for the first time comments on this, and quite a few people stop in the stairway to admire it.
Scenario followed us through this project, from preparing a tender for contractors, through the choice of contractor and negotiation of details, to actually following through the works. In all of this, they did a wonderful job, and that applies to the entire team - they all really invested their utmost in getting us to where we are today.
